Guru Ram Das Ji

He was born on September 24, 1534, and became the fourth Guru of the Sikh faith. Guru Ram Das Ji made significant contributions to Sikhism, including the establishment of the city of Amritsar and the construction of the Harmandir Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple.

Guru Ram Das Ji was a deeply spiritual and compassionate leader. He expanded the Sikh community and strengthened its foundations during his tenure as Guru. One of his notable achievements was the founding of the city of Amritsar in the Punjab region of India. He purchased land and initiated the construction of a central pool, which later became known as the Amrit Sarovar (Pool of Nectar).
