Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of the Sikh religion, was born in 1469 in the village of Talwandi, now known as Nankana Sahib, in present-day Pakistan. From a young age, Guru Nanak Dev Ji displayed a deep spiritual inclination and a compassionate nature.

As he grew older, Guru Nanak embarked on numerous journeys, traveling far and wide to spread his message of love, equality, and devotion to God. He preached against social divisions, emphasizing the oneness of humanity and the importance of living a righteous life.
